The Village Care Fund

It is also loud, exhausting, isolating, messy, and sometimes deeply overwhelming. Often all at the same time. 

The Village Care Fund exists for the moments when a parent needs support but doesn't quite know how to ask, or how they would even be able to afford it. 

This fund allows our community, you, to quietly, intentionally show up for families who could use a little extra care. 

Whether that's welcoming a new baby home, helping a parent catch their breath, or simply reminding someone that they are not doing this alone, (even when it feels like it at 2am).

By contributing to The Village Care Fund, you're helping gift real, hands on support to parents in need. Not advice from the internet, not "let me know if you need anything" (which we all know is rarely followed up on), 

but actual physical help. 

Meals get made

Spaces get reset

Parents get a moment to exhale

I use these funds thoughtfully and intentionally. Applying them where they can make the biggest difference. 

There are so many parents that reach out and they cannot afford any help. 

This is where the Fund comes to the rescue, all handled with care, privacy and respect.

And no, this is not charity (yet)

It's just a village doing what villages have always done, taking care of their own. 

Because one day it might be you who has the capacity to give, and another day it might be you who needs to receive. 

Both belong here. 

How the Village Care Fund Works:

- You can contribute any amount you are comfortable with. 

- Funds are pooled and used to gift parent support services. 

- Services are provided at the discretion of The Village Parent 

Community based on need, availability and fit.

Every contribution large or small, helps create breathing room for parents who need it. 

Here are a few real life examples of how Care Fund support may be used:

$25- A Small Act That Adds Up

Helps cover supplies, time, or part of a visit for a parent who needs extra support. 

Many small contributions together can fund an entire service

$50- Shared Support

Goes toward supporting a family during a demanding season

 by contributing to in home help or essential household support.

$140- One Full Support Visit

Covers a two hour in home visit for a parent who needs help resetting their space, 

catching upon everyday tasks, or simply not doing everything alone. 

$280- Support Across a Tough Week

Provides two visits for a family navigating postpartum recovery, illness, or burnout. 

Allowing them time to rest and regroup. 

$495- Welcome Home Baby!

Helps prepare a family's home while they're away for birth or hospital care, 

so they return to a calmer space, and fewer immediate demands.

Some families chose to contribute a specific amount, or sponsor part of a visit. 

All Care Fund support is distributed thoughtfully, based on need and availability.
